ludicorp again

As you all probably know by now, flickr got bought by yahoo.

That's some good news for the Ludicorp folks, money-wise, and they totally deserve every cent they make with it. Cheers!
But, with every news-bit I hear of lately, I can't stop thinking that it gets harder and harder to find a connection between the Ludicorp team, actively working on GNE, and the current team, making money with their products. Almost the same team, I know... but still..
When I started testing GNE back in the olden days, one of the things I adored most (aside from the obvious) was that this project felt like the developers did it because they loved the game as much as we did and not because they wanted to make money with it.
I'm not saying I would have done it differentely. Let's face it, we all need money and most of the time our reactions are based on our needs. But I sure miss that non-profit feeling GNE gave me.
