night owl

I'm on my night schedule again, which means I go to bed around 5am and get up sometime after noon. That happens so fast everytime I don't have appointments in the mornings, it's almost scary.
After re-designing for two nights (and listening to The Notwist), I tried to go to bed around midnight yesterday. And I should know better than to start reading a book then... But I started reading About a boy by Nick Hornby, had a cup of coffee and some toast around 3am and finished the book by 6am. That book was so much fun! Now I can't wait to finally watch the movie. I'm just glad we had planned to meet for work at 7pm today (or yesterday by now).
While working with 'the guys', I noticed that the people living in the next apartment house had a poster on the wall in a way that the window appeared like a perfect frame. Now, that would be the coolest place for an exibition! Find a good building with lots of big windows and put your work in the right spots so that one can see them from the street. Or maybe have one huge picture and split it up to fit in the windows. I wonder if anyone has done that before. Probably.

at last

Finally! I think I finished re-designing the site. Those little things sure keep you occupied for hours and hours and...

If you find any dead links or experience other web-weirdness, please, let me know.

Welcome again to Mina's world. It's still the same. It just looks different.

a new look is here to come

Mina's World will soon change its look.

I started setting up what I need for my movie reviews and, while doing so, ended up with a new design. I am not finished yet, but whatever I decide on, is what the entire site will look like soon.

Complain below.

love is in my tummy

After having lots of cheese fondue at a friend's place tonight, I managed to consume an entire Liebesapfel back at home. My poor tummy!

in the last two weeks...

There have been a few moments in the past two weeks when I thought to myself "That's something for my blog."
I hope I can remember at least some of them now.

I have been busy taking pictures of some buildings here in Hamburg. And the actual photography part isn't the problem.. but the weather! Still lots of buildings left to do. I sure hope the sun will come out again.
I'll post some pictures as soon as I get them scanned.

In the last two weeks,
... I have been thinking of getting a fish tank and while searching for information, I also came across this fishy-game. Owning a fish tank seems to be rather expensive and time-consuming. I still haven't decided if I really want that.

... Gunnar pointed me to two zombies later. Unusual and free music.

... I watched a dog playing soccer. Seriously, I am not kidding. A guy threw the ball, the dog ran after it and kicked the ball back to its owner with his front paws! I wonder how long it took the guy to teach the dog that trick.

... I finally saw Bowling for Columbine, which made it right to my favourite movie list.

And because I love movies and I enjoy Alice's movie reviews so much, I will start my own movie review soon.

And, finally, I still think the Elktauer is funny.
