Ohrwurm

I'm gonna eat you little fishy,
I'm gonna eat you little fishy,
I'm gonna eat you little fishy,
'cos I like eating fish.

This little song by The Cat has been haunting me for some time now. Following me around, finding its way into my head over and over again: I'm watching my dog swim in the lake. There it is! Walking down the aisle at the grocery store - there it is again! (although at the grocery store it sometimes changes to I'm gonna eat you little [insert desired food here] )
So today I finally searched the web but unfortunately couldn't find the fishy song. What I did find instead was the fish-list and another Red Dwarf song that refuses to leave my head and makes me tongue tied.

And in order to get rid off these sticky songs I am now listening to a Red Dwarf audiobook.

concentration and the lack thereof

Left. Right. Back. Forth. Turn around. Oh, look at that!
I can't concentrate on anything for longer than a few minutes today.

Writing this already took me half an hour because I suddenly felt the urge for coffee, started chatting and continued cleaning my apartment.

I also started on a new design for Mina's World, a new desktop image and the matching icons, Flash ecards and looked at my old actionscript code for the Flash Memory because I still think I can make it smaller and prettier.

The little butterflies in my brain kept dropping fragments of new photographical projects, ideas for drawings and reminded me of all the things I want to do.

I have lots of ideas but feel too restless to finish one single project.

construction

Obviously, most men enjoy staring at construction sites. I am suspecting they are attracted by big machines. Or maybe big holes. Or maybe the destruction or rebuilding or ..
Often the spectators form little groups. They don't talk but stare at the scenery together. It must be some sort of group experience.
So, my idea would be to start a new branch of tourism. "Construction Sight will show you the most interesting places in the world. You will never again miss the newest bridge being built. Big machines included."
I am sure lots of people will love that way of travelling.

Milchmädchen

I started adding Milchmädchen (sweet condensed milk) to my latte again. And I can't stop drinking coffee now!
It's so tasty and sweet...

about
I think that a word like Milchmädchen is definitely a reason to learn German.

26things

shoes Versand

In case you have been wondering why I throw these random images at you...
Via allura I found 26things and was thinking of participating. It reminds me so much of photography school. And even though I might not be able to take all photographs this month (unless I also include some old ones) I will try to finish the list one day.

I love to make lists.

Ouch!

Today I took Zoe with me when Tina and I went to see Bojan and the four of us went for a walk. I had my dog on the leash, Tina her horse.
All went well until Bojan accidently stepped on poor Zoe's foot. She cried, oh! how she cried. I know how it hurts if a horse steps on your foot. It is not a pleasant experience!
Nothing seems to be broken the vet said. But her foot (actually both of her front feet) is swollen and she still walks funny. I let her swim for a long time afterwards. She loves to swim. And she obviously was too busy 'rescuing' sticks and branches out off the water to notice her damaged foot. After swimming her feet were less swollen. I tried to put some cold towels around her feet when be got back. Unfortunately, she always gets up and shakes them off immediately.
I think she will be fine in a few days.

I got Mina back.

The last two movies I rented from my favourite public library are Tango and Fame.
I must be in the mood for dancing.

The last two weeks have been wonderful. As you all probably know, capodistria visited me on his GNE-world tour (and yes, he also wrote the guest entry).
For more details on those 10 days I suggest reading his posts.
(boy, am I lazy!)

I finally started reading the new Harry Potter book last night - with lots of pillows, wrapped up in a blanket on my sofa, fresh mint tea (my newest addiction) and chocolate on the table nearby; listening to Zoe, the cutest dog, still wet from swimming in the river during our walk in the park, barking in her dreams. Awww...

about
Zoe can carry 3 tennisballs in her mouth. I, on the other hand, can barely fit one in mine.
