ladies night
I am still smiling. And it happened more than once today that I started giggling for no apparent reason.
Last night was so much fun! A total flashback. Highschool. Woohoo!
I met with 5 of my lady friends, some of which I haven't seen in years. We all moved to Hamburg in the last years (except for one, but she is moving here soon) and decided it's time to have a girls' night again.
Boy, oh boy, I am so not used to having more than one girl around at the same time, let alone a night with only girls! My usual conversation with friends include at least one of the topics like: games, the last movie you watched (stoned and hey, i don't remember a bit!), which camera system/ lens would be best for the job or what's new on the web.
Not last night, no. I felt more like being in a Sex and the City episode. It's amazing how fast my girls manoeuver through the female topics.
From hair...
J: F. suggested I should get a new haircut. You think so, too? Maybe I should.
D: Just becasue he said so?! Don't be silly! Please tell me, you are not doing that!
...to how to best remove your pubic hair in a nanosecond. And the giggling and high voices! Awesome. I could only sit and stare in amazement (eyes and mouth wide open).
Some things just do not change. And I am glad they don't.
Girls' night will hopefully occur regularly from now on.
