no adventures!

While horseback-riding in the forest today I had this brief moment of feeling like being in Middle-Earth. And I got all exicted - ready for some adventures! But I realized there were no Nazguls to fight. And although I would have never won any fight at all or even survived one (considering the life I'm living) I suddenly felt disappointed.
That feeling didn't last long though. And after all, we should be glad we don't have to fight any terrifying Ringwraiths or monsters, right? Right?

UPDATE
Thanks to Yogi I finally have my 28 photographs online!

I'll take ringwraiths and trolls over marketing and sales any day. I'd prefer being tortured deep in the pits of Mordor over the kind of pain a marketing team can deliver *shudder*.

Thanks to me? Heck, that doesn't even look like my script anymore! ;)

As far as the Nazguls go, I was listening to various NPR-type programs on streaming internet radio last night and it struck me that we live in one of those rare times when the moral choices are, for a short time, fairly clear. That those willing to leave the Shire may, in fact, be able to play some part in throwing the thermonuclear ring into the fires that spawned it and force the last rogue superpower to accept the will of the United Nations.
There are incredibly exciting things happening in the world right now, good and bad. Whatever else, this is not a boring time to be alive.
